Built for better healthcare
Luma helps healthcare work better for patients and care teams. We build practical AI tools that help healthcare organizations reduce everyday challenges, improve access to care, and create more reliable experiences for everyone.
Why we built Luma
Luma Health started with a simple goal: make it easier for patients to get care.
We'd been patients ourselves. We knew what it felt like to wait on hold, chase a referral, or worry about getting time with a doctor. We also saw that for staff, phones, faxes, and paperwork kept getting in the way.
We set out to help patients reach their providers and get what they need to be healthy again.
Over time, the clinicians, administrators, and executives we worked with asked for more. They wanted one way to connect every step of the patient's journey, from scheduling and reminders to intake, payments, and follow-up care.
Today, we build practical AI that takes on the repetitive work that slows care down. Luma works alongside your EHR to fill open slots, follow up on referrals, answer patient questions, and keep patients moving through their care. Your staff gets time back for the work that needs a human touch.
Our founding belief still guides everything we build: needing healthcare is hard, but getting care shouldn't be.
The journey to better care
Luma began by solving a patient access challenge. Today, we help healthcare organizations improve everyday work, guided by the same goal: making care better for patients and providers.
