Fisher-Titus wanted to make care easier to access across rural northern Ohio. But nearly two-thirds of patients were dropping off before finishing a booking, leaving staff with more calls to handle.
Fisher-Titus and Luma designed a simpler, more consistent experience and expanded self-scheduling to more departments and visit types. The share of patients who completed a booking rose from 38% to 90%, a 137% increase.
Fisher-Titus also extended self-scheduling to Google, giving patients searching for same-day care a direct path to Convenient Care. Whether patients start on Google or the Fisher-Titus website, they book through Luma, which writes the appointment directly to Oracle Health.
“At 2 a.m., a parent with a sick child can schedule an appointment for that morning and go back to sleep,” said Amber Hicks, Application Analyst at Fisher-Titus. “They don’t have to worry about calling right at 8 when the office opens.”
- – 137% increase in successful self-scheduling, from 38% to 90%
