With Fax Transform, powered by Spark, you can take all fax processing work out of your staff’s hands. Configure additional workflows for Luma to take action on faxes, or set guidelines for parsing specific document types, to utilize the feature further. Fax Transform gives patients a quick turn-around on fax processing for up-to-date care and drastically reduces the manual fax workload on staff.

The functionality described in this document is native functionality available within Luma. Any functionality or capabilities that your organization might want or need that isn’t outlined here may be subject to a Statement of Work. For more information, refer to the Statement of Work document.

 

Core Functionality

Fax Transform dashboard	Filter the dashboard to show faxes based on category, status, or patient.
Fax Workflows dashboard	Review workflows in your account, their status, type, and creation and update dates.
Document Type dashboard	Review fax document types.
Automatic fax parsing	Spark, Luma’s AI tool, automatically pulls pertinent information from the fax.
Download a fax	Download a PDF copy of a fax from the Fax Transform dashboard.
Archive a fax	Archive faxes that aren’t needed to manage patient care.
Upload a fax	Upload up to 10 PDF files for Luma to process as needed.
Split a large fax	Manually split a large file into separate faxes for processing.
Review a fax	Manually review a fax to verify Spark’s analysis and parsed information. Add any additional details from the file as needed.
Enable an existing workflow	Direct Luma to proceed through a workflow when applicable.
Disable an existing workflow	Direct Luma to temporarily pause on proceeding through a workflow.
Enable a document type	Direct Luma to process faxes of this document type.
Disable a document type	Direct Luma to not process faxes of this document type.

Training and Documentation Materials

Feature	Description
Help Center	The Help Center is Luma’s online library for self-service support content. Users can access the Help Center directly from within their Luma account. From within the Help Center, users can submit tickets to Luma Support for additional assistance.
Luma U	Luma U is your home for Luma education. There are two learning tracks in Luma U – one for sub-account users and one for managers and administrators. Users can access Luma U directly from within their Luma account.
